Congratulations to the following players, who have been selected for Mainland age group squads to attend the National Age Group tournaments in Wellington in December.
14th girls: Maddie Iro

15th boys: Jack Costello, James Brittain, Will Charles, Josh Peters (non-travelling reserve)

This is notice of the 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Ferrymead Bays Football Club. To be held in the courtyard area of Winnie Bagoes Ferrymead, 7.30 pm on Monday 18th November. All Club members welcome.
Initiatives for Mozambique

Tony Joseph, coach of the 10th grade girls Boomerangs team, has visited Mozambique over the last few seasons, assisting with development of football and life in general in the Angoche Island area. The Club has previously supported him by providing old kit for the locals to use.
Tony and his Joseph and Associates Foundation are now going to the next level and aiming to develop the Esperanca Football Academy.
They have organised a charity football match at Ferrymead Park on Sunday Nov 10 with a quiz/auction to follow at Winnie Bagoes.
Gold coin entry for the football match, 4pm kick-off, Esperanca v Canterbury All Stars, BBQ available too; then $20 for the quiz and pizza at Winnie Bagoes, 6.30 pm start.
It would be great for as many Club members as possible to get along and support the event. There is also an associated givealittlepage
