Ferrymead Bays Football is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Hall as its Director of Football.
Joe is currently completing his Ph.D. in Sport Science and has recently attained his OFC B coaching licence. He is a former coach of Universities in the Mainland Premier League and is currently the assistant coach of the Canterbury United Dragons.
Joe has been appointed in line with the Club currently applying for a Club/Youth licence. This licence is now becoming a NZ Football/Mainland Football requirement for participation in top level senior and youth competitions and if Bays are successful in being awarded one, will enable them to set up a Club Talent Centre for elite 13 and 14 year olds in 2018, with expansion on a yearly basis after that.
Joe's initial focus with the club will be the implementation of this Youth Talent Centre, the structures and support required with that and aspects concerning other youth teams.
The Club welcome him on board as a great addition.
