Reserve Champions!
The Reserves recently won their league - a great record over the season where they played 14, won 11, drew 2 and lost only 1, with a goal difference of +35.
Congratulations to coaches Mark McGale, Don Saxon and the team.

Youth & Junior Tournaments
Ferrymead Bays Junior and Youth teams competed in annual tournaments over the weekend.
Two girls teams competed in the Alan Fraser Girls Only Waimak tournament - we had the Panthers in 13th grade and the Keaporks in 11th grade. Both had mixed success (but a lot of fun) - both finishing 7th overall in their respective competitions.
We had boys teams competing in the Christchurch International Cup at Yaldhurst. In the youth sections - both the 13th and 14th teams faced stiff competition, with both finishing 5th overall.
In the junior section, the 9ths finished second, losing the final to the Tauranga Allstars; the 10ths got the bronze, beating Christchurch United Blue 3-0 in the 3rd/4th playoff; the 11ths had a tough battle, finishing 14th; and the 12ths had some good wins along the way, achieving a 5th placed finish.
Overall, a tremendous effort by all Bays competitors, displaying great sportsmanship and competitiveness, with some brilliant achievements along the way.
